Why it matters
- AI handles the how. Humans own the what and the why.
- Direction, judgment, and framing are where human value is shifting.
- Train everyone. If you lead a team, get them trained in critical and design thinking too.

Hey, I’m Matt.
In a world that is becoming more and more dominated by AI, your real value isn’t being faster. I believe it’s being the person who sees what comes next.
And here’s why you should stick with me. Lots of people are talking about upskilling for AI, but most people don’t get specific. So I want to make the case for AI training for EVERYONE and share specific resources for this training.
AI is great at making what we already do quicker and cheaper. But it doesn’t invent the next idea. It doesn’t choose the problem to solve. Those are the parts that humans need to do. Your value now is creative problem solving.
And here’s the thing most people miss. Creativity isn’t magic. It’s a skill you can learn. There are real processes like Design Thinking and Critical Thinking that can teach a structured and creative way of approaching problems and opportunities. And this is the future for humans. As humans, our value needs to shift toward providing direction, judgment, and framing.
What I’m saying is that as humans, we need to focus on WHY we are doing things and WHAT we need to do. And, more and more, AI will take care of HOW things are implemented.
So here’s the move. You should get ahead of the curve and train yourself on critical and design thinking. And if you lead a team, get them trained too!
